New Penny Café

New Penny Café is a locally owned breakfast, brunch and lunch café in Avondale’s BLVD district. Established in 2023, the café was created by Laura Hansen of Saddle Mountain Brewing Company along with Brittany and Deni of Enroute Coffee and Tea House. New Penny makes many of its products in-house, including baked goods, sauces, jalapeño bagels and 72-hour fermented English muffins. Its menu features breakfast sandwiches, burritos, salads and sandwiches alongside a full coffee bar and crafted cocktails. The café also supports its community-first mission by featuring products from local makers and bakers.
